Hey wonderful people.

Long time readers and listeners of the podcast may remember Dungeons and Dreamforce. This was a special event where some Salesforce community members got together and played Dungeons and Dragons with a Dreamforce theme. Watchers could donate money to impact the future of the game to help or hinder the players. All money helped support the Children’s Miracle Network.

You may have also heard of Fragforce. This is a group of Salesforce employees that organized together to regularly stream games and other fun stuff. Donations also go to the Children’s Miracle Network. This group regularly streams throughout the year.

This Thursday, December 12, 2019 Fragforce is going to be doing a charity marathon. It will be 24 hours of various games played by Salesforce employees and community members. The event “Fragforce Here There and Everywhere 2019″ starts at 12:00 PM Central Thursday and continues through 12:00 PM Central on Friday.

Mark Ross and I are participating during this event. In addition to promoting and donating, Mark and I are planning on playing MineCraft SkyFactory 4 at 8:00 PM Cetral. For our section, you could donate to give us a “Chance Cube.” This is a bit like gambling. Sometimes we’ll get something helpful to our gameplay. Most of the time, it’s something that’s not very helpful — but craziness and hilarity typically ensue. You’ll have the two of us doing our typical antics potentially some other players.

If you’ve listened to the podcast for a long time, you may remember the bet we made with Ryan Hedley from Apex & the Limits. We made a deal that if their episode got a certain number of downloads by a particular date, he would wear a lion suit during their performance at MidWest Dreaming. WizardCast won and Roaring Ryan was born.

I’ve been trying to convince Roaring Ryan to put the lion suit back on for years now. Well, thanks to this event – it may happen! There’s a goal of $2,000. If we hit that goal before 4:00 AM Central Friday, Ryan will wear the lion suit during his stream time (4:00 to 6:00 AM Central).

So please donate! You can donate at anytime. You can also donate during the event while people are playing. Depending on the group and game, your donation can impact the game.
