Mark and Brian have some confusion over podcast plans which leads to a less-than-normal podcast recording session.
Salesforce Tip: Schema Builder
Have you played around with the Schema Builder? It’s been around for quite some time, but many people continue to use the “old” way to create new fields and object. Mark and Brian talk about the benefits of the Schema Builder including being able to right-click and update Field Level Security. Pretty neat stuff. There’ll likely be a follow up video or blog post on this so stay tuned.
Thanks to Shannon Hale for her tweet about using Schema Builder for FLS.
Fred – Formerly “The Segment Which Shall Not Be Named”
The Segment Which Shall Not Be Named continues asking people about their introduction to the salesforce.com platform. Brian has gotten tired of calling this “The Segment Which Shall Not Be Named” and will hereby refer to this segment as “Fred” until a better name has been providing.
Thanks Ryan Headley for being such a good sport and answering our question.
